Fresh Milled Sausage Gravy

My family loves biscuits and gravy. It is a southern classic that my family requests often. I will make it for a late breakfast or brunch or a dinner. One thing is certain, if I am going through the trouble of making biscuits, I am making a lot of them. This particular night, I made 45 biscuits with my buttermilk biscuit recipe. We had biscuits and gravy for dinner. I also baked 24 sausage patties in oven to make sausage and biscuits. I put 8 in the refrigerator for the next morning, and 16 completely assembled in the freezer for another day. I wrap them individually in saran wrap to prevent freezer burn and then put them in a freezer bag. The night before, I put them in the refrigerator and let them thaw overnight there. In the morning, you can warm on the skillet, toaster oven, or microwave.
