Jalapeño Mango Honey Goat Cheese Pizza

If you love spicy, salty, savory, and a tiny bit sweet. This pizza will be your go-to. It is truly amazing. I made this for pizza night with a group of friends, and several were skeptical. But after trying it, they were asking me for the recipe. Most of the time, my friends are my taste testers when I'm creating something new. And this one is very special! Also peep that new tea towel design! I will be restocking my store with tea towels and bread bags tomorrow at 8pm! (September 13,2022) I have added 4 new collections to this launch!

Jalapeño Mango Honey Goat Cheese Pizza

Ingredients:

1 - pizza dough, Here is my fresh milled pizza dough recipe

3-4 TBS Jalapeño relish (Texas twister is the best and found at market street)

Mozarella

Honey goat cheese

Fresh diced mangos

A few slices of capocollo torn apart.

Arugula

drizzle of honey

Directions:

Make your pizza dough according to the instruction in this blog post. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and put your pizza stones or cast iron in the oven to get hot. Hand stretch the dough for one pizza. Add the relish as your pizza base. Mozzarella next, then mangoes, then honey goat cheese, then copocallo. Bake at 450 on a stone or cast iron pizza pan for about 10 minutes. Top with arugula and a drizzle of honey!

Capocollo is in the deli section of most grocery stores. It is similar to prosciutto but thicker and stays soft when you bake it instead of getting tough like prosciutto can. I ask for 1/4 pound sliced thin. It is usually only like $4. Any left over we eat with crackers and cheese!

If you can't find jalapeño relish at the store this is a good one to order!

I hope you make it! It is so delicious!
